The moose makes a lovable and safe toy. The antlers are stiffened with pieces cut from a plastic gallon milk bottle. The curved shape is already molded in, but the plastic is soft enough to bend on contact without breaking. A plastic strip or wooden dowel through the head gives the antlers support. This gives a more realistic look of moose antlers without stuffing them. Yarn tufts from the tail and beard. the hooves are optional.
