Moosehead Plaque & Hobby Moose

$7.00

The pattern include both Hobby Moose and Moosehead Plaque.

Finished size: head 12” long, antlers 19” spread.

Paper Pattern pieces: 5

Why ride a hobby horse when you can ride a hobby moose? The antler supports are cut from a gallon plastic milk jug and covered with suede-like fabric. The curves are already molded in the plastic, which is flexible enough to bend without breaking and is, therefore, safe. A plastic strip or wooden dowel across the inside of the head and into the antlers lends further support. The moose has stitched eyelids over either safety or button eyes. It has a yarn beard, too. By changing the neck opening, the head may be mounted on a plaque. The larger neck is stuffed firmly, stapled over the edges of a wooden oval, which is then screwed to a wooden plaque.

No Kit available.

Finished Moosehead Plaque $60.00, Hobby Moose $45.00 Postage is very high as it requires an oversize box for the hobby moose, and the plaque is large and heavy.
